Tele-Treatment is a comprehensive application package being offered by i-Diagnosis.

This Products  allows storage and subsequent Forwarding as a single file, the complete data pertaining to the patient which may be the information or disease history or present reports and medical test data. This information may be text, graphical records, pictures, scanned data, video or audio data 

All the modules for  telemedicine are covered in this product Tele-Treatment of i-Diagnosis as standard supply. This product has been implemented even with the use of PSTN lines successfully. With any higher band width, the product performance is excellent.

This product enables planned / scheduled diagnosis and Telemedicine video conferencing andb is being used by super-specialty hospitals and remote hospitals for   

1. Clinical Specialty Consultation / Second Opinion
Medical practitioner at a remote location schedules all his or her patients requiring expert medical tertiary level specialists' advice on a particular day and time of the week. Super specialty medical experts are made available on-line during that schedule for consults on the scheduled cases. The remote practitioner makes available with the expert super specialists, all the case history, investigation of the patients, beforehand.

2. Image (CT, MRI, Color Doppler, ECG, Echo, Histopathology) interpretation
Off site Nursing Homes, Diagnostic Centers and Hospitals send images on-line to Super specialty experts for interpretation of those images.
 

This product also allows  transmission of medical data directly from the medical equipment  like ECG machine, X-ray machine, CT-Scan etc. which follow  DICOM standards directly in real time. This product enables simultaneous reference to the medical data by the patient side and super-specialty side doctors.

This product enables not only planned / scheduled . diagnosis and video conference for Telemedicine, it can take care of emergency situations where data can be transferred without loss of time.

This Product is used for

a.      Offsite (remote) critical care patient monitoring

This service is for monitoring the patients while they have got admitted in an ICU at a remote location The doctor in the local ICU connects the patient to the ICU or CCU of super-specialty Hospital and the expert cardiologists, other critical medicine experts review the patient’s condition on-line and provide expertise to local ICU or CCU doctor in managing the patient with the best of the clinical practice.

b. Home monitoring

Patients with chronic ailments can have their follow up consultations with their respective consultants while sitting in their homes or workplaces. For a nominal amount, the patient is given a device that needs to be connected to an ordinary telephone line and during the consultation; this device transmits the ECG and other relevant clinical parameters to the consultant's monitor at the super-specialty Hospital.
